Doctor Appointments
We know that all appointments cannot happen after school hours. In the interest of making sure your child misses the least amount of instruction, please talk with your teacher to find out the best times to make school-hour appointments.
Arrival and Dismissal
School Bell
The first school bell rings at 7:55. Students are expected to line up on the blacktop according to room number. Their teacher will meet them on the blacktop and escort them to class. Class instruction begins promptly at 8:00am.
If it is a rainy day, students are instructed to go to the Multi-Use Room where their teachers will meet them and escort them to the classroom.
For grades 1-5, classes are dismissed at 2:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday dismissal is 1:06.
For kindergarten, early birds are dismissed at 11:25 every day. Late birds are dismissed at 1:15 every day.
Check In / Check Out Procedures
If your student needs to leave school for an appointment or for the day, please come to the school office to sign them out. One of our office personnel will call your child's classroom to have them dismissed. Please do not go directly to the classroom as this disrupts the flow of instruction.
If your student returns before the end of the school day, come to the school office to sign them back in.
If your student is late for school, they will need to report to the office first before going to the classroom.
